The concept begins in Bangkok.

The concept begins in Bangkok.

The first Forest of Play was an interactive exhibition at Chulalongkorn University. Children and families learned through creative play, while 90% of the space was built from leftover PlanToys factory materials.

The exhibition finds a new home.

The exhibition finds a new home.

After the exhibition, the play area moved to PlanToys’ former headquarters on Soi Sathorn 10, with educational toys, climbing structures, outdoor play, music and imaginative role-play zones.

A permanent playground grows in Trang.
2020

A permanent playground grows in Trang.

Former employee housing land became an indoor–outdoor playground surrounded by nature. The site now also includes a PlanToys Toy Museum with traditional toys and toys from around the world.

Bangkok’s story continues.

Bangkok currently has no permanent Forest of Play. PlanToys is renovating its new headquarters at Soi Charoenkrung 69 as a flagship store and activity space, while continuing events at libraries, malls and community centres.
