Product Marketing Manager

This new team member will be one of our main drivers from defining product vision, product concept development, product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. He/she will have to work closely with product development, sales, engineers and costing teams to ensure the successful launch of new products to ensure optimum revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction goals are achieved in order to support the company’s overall strategy and goals. He/She will have to report to the ManagingDirector and supports Sales Managers in the followingtasks: 

Duties

• Initiate the development of new products and modify existing products with the sales and product development team so that product lines will enjoy maximum market acceptance. A Marketing Plan is then developed, implemented, and executed. It is the responsibility of the Product Manager to ensure that the new products are released in accordance with that plan.

• Prepare in accordance with company schedules, sales forecasts, target price/profit determination, supplying with such forecasts any specific information which will, in his/her judgments, affect the projected sales. Institute promptly any needed revision in forecasts on any individual products.

• Review annually and make recommendations to the supervisor regarding the sales progress to determine the need for additions, deletions and further modifications.

• Review quarterly the sales and profit structure of the products to make a profit analysis of each product group in detail. This would be in conjunction with the Marketing Plan to ensure: 1) the profit and sales goals are being met, 2) to institute corrective action if the goals are not being met including recommendations for price revisions, changes of design and other elements affecting gross and net operating profit, 3) to increase profitability within the limits of competition and market acceptance. 

• Drive the product analysis with the support of sales, product development team, and engineers on market complaint, product design improvements, safety as well as observing competitors’ products based on several evaluation criteria. 

• Participate in the educational programs held in conjunction with the sales meetings and product training.

• Maintain close liaison with the marketing and e-commerce team particularly involving new releases and special promotions, the technical product accuracy where requested and will review and advise regarding new catalogs and price lists.

• Carry out specific additional assignments related to products requested by the ManagingDirector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/master’s degree in business administration, Economic, Marketing

• Majoring in Project Management, Data Analysis will be a plus.

• At least 3-5 years’ working experience in consumer goods as a product manager. 

• Age over 28 years old.

• Excellent PC skills especially in Excel. 

• Ability to coordinate and prioritize activities.

• Self Starter

• Excellent English and Thai, in both writing, reading and speaking.
