A carbon footprint is the amount of greenhouse gas that is released into the atmosphere by various human activities. Greenhouse gases cause global warming and affect all living things on Earth. Melting polar ice caps, flooding, and damaged ecosystems are just a few examples of the consequences of these toxic gases.

Why do we calculate our carbon footprint at PlanToys?

We are passionate about reducing our environmental impact. By minimizing the amount of greenhouse gas that is released during our toy production, we are playing a role in protecting Mother Earth and will inspire others to do the same!

At PlanToys, we calculate the amount of greenhouse gas released from our raw materials’ arrival at the factory to the final packaging of our toys for shipment (from gate to gate).

From cradle to gate: A boundary considers all activities starting from raw material extraction and transfer to the factory through production until the product is ready to leave the factory gate.

From gate to gate: The calculation of the amount of greenhouse gas that is released from the arrival of the raw materials through production within the factory until the product is packed and ready to leave the factory gate.

From the cradle to grave: The method encompasses the whole life cycle of a product, from raw material extraction and transfer to the factory through production and consumption to waste.
