This involves reducing waste volume, reusing materials, and recycling. Waste management also helps reduce environmental pollution, such as water, soil, and air, benefiting human health and the surrounding ecosystem outside the factory walls.

Waste management for safety.

PlanToys categorizes waste into two main parts: general waste from food processing and production processes that must comply with regulations, such as hazardous waste from medical rooms or unused materials. Proper storage and disposal methods are implemented accordingly.

Technology aids in data recording for waste disposal.

When facing challenges or obstacles in waste management, the team has developed targeted solutions using technology to track and record waste disposal data. Employees are required to scan QR codes to identify waste information before disposal, enabling efficient problem-solving and prevention for the future.

For example, experimenting with a PU Water based to reduce the volume of PU foam scraps that need disposal, as well as using reusable plastic covers for items to reduce the volume of stretch film waste and eliminating plastic bags in baskets by directly placing items into the baskets, reducing plastic waste volume.
